I saw an Instagram post of a friend of mine going here, saw how aesthetically pleasing this place was and I told myself I had to go here when I get the chance.
Before going there, I noticed that they used these unique bottles with metal straws. I was amazed on their concept, going green is always a big thing to me, especially when it comes to using straws. We have so much waste on our planet, and one of the biggest waste is using plastic straws.
As I got in, the space was a lot smaller than I thought. The photos on Yelp made the place look enormous, but I guess the tall ceilings made the space a lot less cramped. There was only a few seatings available, and most of them were taken by others who were there before, so the only seating we could sit at was by the window.
I went over to order, not really knowing what to get, so I asked the guys working there what their signature drink was, they said Cake Milk Tea, and that was what I ordered, with boba, and half sugar. Which, thankfully I did, cause I felt if I did order regular sugar, it would be way too sweet.
Some flaws I would point out, when I received my milk tea bottle, it came in plastic and not glass. Which was a huge drag for me. The photos on Yelp made it seem as if they were glass bottles, and I thought since they used metal straws, the bottles would be glass. Another turn off was the fact that I couldn’t even suck the boba up through my metal straw, so I had to use the regular big plastic boba straws.
Everything else was nice. I’m in love with their green walls and their clean, sleek, modern look they’re going for. There’s more tea and dessert options there, so I might be going back again after I try out other boba places.
I hope you enjoy this and if you ever checked out the place, let me know how your experience went!
cheers xx 💋
