Making an appointment to Din Tai Fung was probably the best decision ever.
Although a little pricy, I'm proud to say I'm happy to be Taiwanese. It's funny because, I'm American Taiwanese and I go back to Taiwan every once a year to see my family, yet none of my family members ever told me to check out this place or took me to eat at this place. My parents both knew how popular this place was and never took me there!!! Q^Q
Jarren and I actually found this place through Yelp, cause we wanted to get dimsum somewhere in San Jose. We saw a lot of great reviews from different Yelpers and wanted to go, but you have to make a reservation beforehand.
Everything was really delicious and also tasted really fresh. I'm actually a pescatarian so unfortunately, I did not eat any XiaoLongBao （小籠包）. But! Jarren eats meat and he said it is really good. He actually said it's better than Koi Palace's xiaolongbao (小籠包）. Amazing service and great atmosphere.
I really, really, really do recommend going here. It's seriously worth the wait (from the reservation).
