Silver hair for an Asian is hard to maintain and I've been stressing on how to maintain my silver hair in order for the color to last longer. I've used purple shampoo and some other products, but the color just faded away super fast.
About one or two months ago, my friend Megan suggested me to use this hair product called OVERTONE, but at that time, they were still in the process of making the color silver. Anyways, during the time I was in Taiwan, my silver hair started to fade even faster because the sun was shining super bright and also I didn't have any products to treat my silver hair. So, I was just waiting for the color to come out so I could buy it and use it when I got back to California. A day before I left Taiwan, I was so excited because it finally came out and bought it, and when I arrived back home I got the package.
So shipping = fast.
I bought the Vibrant Silver Complete Set ($45) to test things out. The Complete Set comes with a medium bottle vibrant silver daily conditioner, a mini bottle vibrant silver daily conditioner, and a big round bottle of vibrant silver weekly treatment.
When I was back from Taiwan my hair color was pretty much just light ash grey/yellow-ish blonde, and I started off using just the medium sized bottle conditioner that night to see how well the color will stick onto my hair. When I got out of the shower, it was pretty, but it was still semi-blonde. So, the next day, I decided to tone my hair with the big bottle of the vibrant silver weekly treatment--and, oh my goodness--after I washed my hair, the color was auhmazing. My hair was super soft like I went to get it deep conditioned at the hair salon, and my hair smelled SO DAMN AMAZING. My hair was silver, but had a bluish tone to it, which I am absolutely in love with.
- Long lasting color
- Leaves hair soft and smells super good
- Fast shipping
- No animals are tested
- Don't have to go to the hair salon anymore!
- Would not buy the other conditioner anymore
- That's all. (:
In conclusion: I would not buy the conditioner. I'll probably just buy the weekly treatment and just use that every time my color fades.
