Mazaa Kabob

On the night of June 5, my friend Megan and I went to Tracy to visit one of my co-workers newly opened Afghan restaurant. We got there around 8:30 and the place closes at 10, and the place was still pretty packed at 8:30...

The first picture was a drink I ordered, which is called Dogh, it's a yogurt drink mixed with mint, and it's not a sweet drink, but the after taste as the yogurt sits in your mouth tastes really great. The second thing we got was an appetizer that came with our dinner, I believe, is called Shornakhud. For me, it was like a salad and inside it had potatoes, beans, and a nice spice to it. Our entree we ordered was Daal Chalow (this was amazing and a must order dish for vegetarians) and Sabzi Chalow. Lastly, when it was dessert time, Megan and I were pretty full, but we still ordered Baklava, which was a thin pastry with pistachio and honey. Now, I'm not a big fan of pistachios, but when I tried Baklava, it was amazing. The pastry was warm and the honey just melted in your mouth when you're chewing the Baklava.

If you're in Tracy and down for some Afghan food, try out Mazaa Kabob! They're food are reasonably priced and super good!
